Sponsored by the energy companies in the state and administered by United Way Rhode Island, the GNEF provides heating assistance to households in financial difficulty. For more than thirty years, we have spearheaded the marketing for the Fund and helped create one of the most recognizable and trustworthy brands in the state. Since inception, the Fund has raised more than $15 million and, more importantly, helped provide warmth to over 46,250 households during the winter months.
